Why We Play

At Bells Lacrosse Club, our philosophy is rooted in developing the whole athlete. We emphasize leadership, discipline, and positivity while building the lacrosse skills and IQ that fuel long-term success. Our mission goes beyond the field—strength and agility training to enhance athletic performance and providing structured programs that support players from the start to the end of the summer season. By combining competitive opportunities with a focus on growth and development, we prepare athletes to excel in lacrosse and in life.

Born From the Mountains, Built for the Game

Helping Colorado’s mountain-town athletes grow where they live

Bells Lacrosse Club was founded to meet the growing demand for a high-level, professional lacrosse program in Colorado’s mountain towns. While the sport has flourished in other regions, local athletes in the Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding areas lacked access to elite coaching, competitive opportunities, and a structured path for development.

We created Bells Lacrosse to fill that gap—bringing top-tier training, mentorship, and competition to athletes who want to take their game to the next level without leaving their community.

Chris Sullivan

Head Coach & Founder

Chris Sullivan brings a wealth of experience and passion to Bells Lacrosse Club as Head Coach. A graduate of Deerfield Academy and the University of Denver, where he competed at the Division I level, Chris has built his career on discipline, resilience, and elite competition. Currently serving as the Boys Division Lead Coach for Aspen Lacrosse Club, he is dedicated to developing athletes both on and off the field.

Raised in Milton, Massachusetts, Chris’s lacrosse journey took shape after his family moved to Tucson, Arizona—after starting far from the sport’s traditional hotbeds. His path to recruitment and success at the highest level gives him a unique perspective on the commitment and competitive training it takes to stand out. Chris emphasizes “competitive compounding training”—the steady accumulation of effort and skill—as the foundation of athletic and personal growth. His mission is to inspire athletes in Colorado’s mountain towns to embrace hard work, seize opportunities, and unlock their full potential.
